Jasmine Dela Luna

Jasmine is a 2018–2019 Douglass Fellowship alumna. She achieved her juris doctorate from the University of Chicago Law School in 2019. She graduated summa cum laude from DePaul University in 2016 with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology. Before starting law school, Jasmine founded a collegiate chapter of the International Justice Mission at her undergraduate university and volunteered at Traffick Free, a Chicago-based anti-human trafficking non-profit organization. She has also served marginalized communities in Chicago, the Philippines, Hawaii, and Spain. During law school, Jasmine served as president of the Human Rights Law Society and the Christian Legal Society. She also helped with the Domestic and Sexual Violence Project and worked with the Young Center for Immigrant Children’s Rights. After her first year of law school, Jasmine worked as a Kirkland & Ellis Pro Bono Fellow at the National Immigrant Justice Center. Jasmine is now a first-year associate at Schiff Hardin LLP. As an attorney, Jasmine hopes to continue partnering with non-profit organizations to help eradicate human trafficking both domestically and abroad.
