About the Author

Christin Vivona

Christin most recently served as the Legal Intern for the Human Trafficking Institute. She is now a second-year law student at The George Washington University Law School. She previously served as a paralegal at the Law Office of Claudio Stanziola, where she worked primarily with immigrant clients to prepare various types of immigration relief applications. In 2015, she completed and defended her anthropology master’s thesis, in which she explored the cultural impact of U.S. immigration policy on Brazilian immigrants in New Jersey. She lived and studied in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and speaks both Spanish and Portuguese. Christin holds an M.A. in anthropology from Monmouth University and a B.A. in Spanish from Wagner College. Christin lives in Washington D.C. while she completes her law degree.
